Information about Feodosia, Crimea, Ukraine
The old name of Feodosia is Kafa. It's really old town, it was Crimean bigest slave-market in Kafa in XII-XVIII. You will see a ruins of ancient tower, a sight of those time, when you'll be walking in Feodosia.
Now Feodosia is popular recreation place with a good sand beach, many cafes and restaurants.
Famous russian artist Ayvasovsky lived in Feodosia for a long time. He built a gallery and now it is most important museum of the city it's a "must see". There is also popular museum of Russian writer Alexander Gren, but it's more interesting for "russian speaking" people.
