Alupka is a small seaside resort town in Crimea, Ukraine, located 17 km to the west from Yalta. You can reach it from Yalta by car, sea boat or by bus. Alupka is a very popular place for holidays and spa treatment in Crimea.
Thanks to its beautiful landscapes, mild climate and salubrious air, Alupka attracts thousand of holiday-makers each year both from Ukraine and others countries of the world.
Alupka is very famous for Voronsov Palace – a unique architectural monument built for Earl Vorontsov in 1828 – 1846 to the design of one of the best English architects. Earl Vorontsov was one of most successful and richest Russian entrepreneurs. The palace was supposed to be a summer residence for his family as it had been till the October Revolution 1917. The palace is surrounded by a huge park – one the most beautiful in Crimea.
